Drake and Kennedy were married on a beautiful fall day at Cowee Baptist Church in Franklin, NC. It was extraordinary to witness two childhood friends and sweethearts come together as a family.
Their love story began in middle school and developed into mutual crushes in high school as their friendship grew stronger while they shared nearly every class together. Although they kept their feelings secret, they went to different colleges and stayed in touch throughout.
After college, Drake reached out to Kennedy on her birthday, and they began dating shortly after. Their love deepened, and in March 2025, Drake proposed to Kennedy. Now married, they celebrated their union with family and friends at their family church. It was a joyous occasion, and I was honored to capture it.

Kennedy and Drake's wedding was a heartfelt celebration officiated by their family pastor, Jason Smith, at the charming Cowee Baptist Church in Franklin, North Carolina. The event hall at the church provided a lovely backdrop for the reception. Guests enjoyed a delightful feast prepared by family friends, as the bride's parents are former restaurant owners and chefs, making it a wonderful dining experience. To conclude the evening, everyone savored an array of delicious chocolate desserts after their meal. It was truly a joyous occasion!
